Are you an experienced Contracts Administration or Commercial professional looking to play a key role on some of Europe's most significant Life Sciences capital projects?

A key EPCM Consultancy client of ours is expanding its Project Controls & Commercial capability and is seeking a Senior Project Contracts Administration Lead to support the successful delivery of major pharmaceutical and life sciences programmes across Ireland and Europe.

​

This is an opportunity to become a trusted commercial advisor, influencing projects from early feasibility and business case through design, construction, CQV and project close out.

The Opportunity

​

As a senior member of the Project Controls team, you will lead the development, governance and assurance of Contracts Administration strategies across complex capital projects. Working closely with clients, project teams and multidisciplinary delivery partners, you'll help drive commercial certainty, effective governance and successful project outcomes.

​

This role offers exposure to both Owner (Client) and EPCM delivery environments while supporting some of the industry's most advanced manufacturing and pharmaceutical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Lead the development and governance of Contracts Administration strategies across major capital programmes.

• Establish robust commercial baselines, assumptions, risk registers and governance processes.

• Review, challenge and assure third party commercial information to improve cost certainty and transparency.

• Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and Project Controls teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support commercial reporting, risk management and project controls processes.

• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to develop Contracts Administration capability across the wider team.

• Build trusted relationships with clients and senior project stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

​

• Strong Contracts Administration, Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical capital projects.

• Experience working within both Client (Owner) and EPCM project environments.

• Excellent understanding of commercial delivery across CSA, Mechanical, Electrical, Process and Automation packages.

• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to develop contract strategies from limited early phase information.

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with commercial data, benchmarking and reporting.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

• Professional accreditation or working towards chartership is advantageous.

• Previous experience delivering projects across Europe would be beneficial.
